Match length to experience, not to ambition. One page for juniors, two for most experienced candidates.
Fonts and size
- Body: 10 to 11 pt.
- Name: 20 to 26 pt.
- Headings: 11 to 13 pt.
Margins and spacing
- Margins of 12 to 20 mm are readable and print well.
- Use consistent line spacing.
Colour
Use one accent colour. Check that the CV still reads when printed in black and white.
Pages
If the last page has only a few lines, tighten the content or adjust spacing.
