Status matters
Use clear status labels: Completed, Part-qualified, Pursuing, Exam scheduled. Never imply you hold a qualification you do not have.
Part-qualified
Write the number of papers or levels passed and the expected completion date, for example ACCA – 9 papers passed, final exam expected [Month Year].
Articleship or training
List the firm, location, duration and the work you did: audit, tax, accounts, costing. Use bullets with outcomes just like a job.
Where to place them
- Early in your career: after the summary or education.
- Experienced: after experience, or beside education.
Membership numbers
Add membership or registration numbers only if the employer requires them.
